Every December, I open the door of the studio and invite the public in to see what I have been up to in the past year. This annual event has become one of my favorite days of the season. And for many of my local followers, I'm happy to say, it has become a part of their holiday season kick off. Year after year, I am thrilled to see moms and daughters, groups of friends, meet up to attend this event. I love seeingand talking to those who have been collectors for years, or those who may have just started following my artwork.
Along with orginal artwork, I try to fill the studio with some special projects, just for Christmas. This includes an assortment of hand painted ornaments, which make wonderful, unique Christmas gifts.
And my floral art calendar for the coming year, filled with 8x10 frameable prints.
With gift giving in mind, in recent years I have added art supply boxes for parents of children and teen creatives. Each kit includes quality, yet affordable brushes and paints that I chose with young artists in mind, along with canvases and mulit media paper and painting starter designs. The idea was to make it easier for parents to give the gift of art, even if they themselves, don't know a lot about what supplies to purchase.
And because I had requests, this year I have expanded my art gift boxes, to include a set for adults!
And of course, I always have plenty of floral themed, journals, notecards, prints, and, new this year, greeting cards. These items are priced to make the gift of art accessible to all.
Finally, I have orginal art work available. Older work is often greatly discounted. Newer work is availble in a wide variety of price ranges: from my larger works, to smaller paintings, like those included in my mini series, " Spring Singles", as seen above, So whether you have had your eye on a larger painting for some time and the time is right now, or you are looking to give the gift of orginal art, but need to keep it within a budget, I have something for everyone.
