Something a little different!  I love the story that the human face tells.  Every cruve of the cheek, wrinkle, and spensive look of the eye, conveys the story of that human life.  Which, in certin ways is all of our story.  
   This 16x20 oil in painted on canvas, using the Verdaccio underpainting technique of beginning the painting with an underpainting of a mixture of black,white, and yellow ochre, which gives off a grey0green effect, and then slowly adding layers of flesh tone to that.  The goal being, to create a luminous skin tone.
